DUFFIELD stayed ahead in Millers Partnership Division One with a 37-run win at home to Alfreton.
Hashen Ramanayake was the star man as he hit 71 when they batted first in a total of 213 all out.
Tim Williscroft added 49 and Joe New took 3-37.
But with Ramanayake then taking 4-31, the reply came up short despite 84 from Tom New.
Duffield's lead remains only two points after second-placed Quarndon won a thriller at home to Ilkeston Rutland by two wickets.
