Dignitaries help to open new city care home

A DERBY care home celebrated its Winter Wonderland-themed grand opening by welcoming a number of city dignitaries.

HM Lord Lieutenant of Derbyshire, Elizabeth Fothergill CBE, the Deputy Mayor of Derby, Councillor Philip Ingall, and Deputy Mayoress, Councillor Celia Ingall, joined guests at Bowesbury care home in Boulton Moor to enjoy seasonal, homemade treats alongside live entertainment from vocalist Lady Lindy.
