Trainee Metro officer busted at gang house' with drugs and ammo

A TRAINEE Metro Cop appeared in court yesterday after being arrested on Saturday in Delft for possession of illegal ammunition at a house belonging to an alleged member of the Horrible gang.

The Delft SAPS Crime Prevention Unit made the arrest, alongside another suspect, in Tamarisk Street and when searching the vehicle police found and seized a brag (45) .38 Special rounds of ammunition.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Malcolm Pojie confirmed the arrests and said two suspects aged 31 and 27 years were arrested and appeared at the Bellville Magistrates Court yesterday.
