Pastoor se kind knifed at a garage after buying sweets and chocolates for his kids

A FATHER of five tragically lost his life after he was stabbed to death outside a garage shop after buying lekkers for his laa-ities on Sunday evening in Mitchells Plain.

The life of Diego Soldaat, 35, was cut short after he was killed at a BP garage in Clock Tower, Mitchells Plain, after coming from the shop.

His family are seeking answers, claiming that he was innocent and not affiliated to any trouble or gang activity.

Brother Luke Soldaat said the tragedy has left the family shattered as Diego leaves behind his five children, his parents and five siblings.

The heartbroken brother explained: “He lives behind Clock Tower. We are not sure what transpired, we are waiting on feedback from the detectives to get back to us with footage as to why they stabbed him.
