Killers get 42 years in tronk

THE Worcester Regional Court has sentenced Willem Olivier and Kelvin Vlok each to 42 years direct tronkstraf, while a third accused, a 20-year-old who was a minor at the time, received 15 years direct imprisonment for the gruesome murder of the 77-year-old Christina Walters at her Papkuil Farm in Ceres.

All three have been declared unfit to possess firearms.

The State charged Olivier, 52, Vlok, 24, and the minor with murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, illegal possession of firearms, and illegal possession of ammunition.
