Alleged member of the Hard Livings shot dead in car amid new flare-up of gang violence

AN ALLEGED Hard Livings gang member is the latest victim of the gun violence plaguing the streets of Mitchells Plain.
The 46-year-old man, known only as 'Bollie', was shot multiple times in Moloto Street around 7am yesterday and died while sitting in the passenger seat of a maroon Opel Kadett.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi confirmed that the circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation.
Swartbooi reported: "Mitchells Plain police responded to a complaint on Tuesday 7 October 2025.
