Atlantis man, 35, accused of murdering his 67-year-old skoonma says his friend did it

THE Atlantis ou who allegedly bludgeoned his mother-in-law to death with an axe, is now shifting the blame to a neighbour.

Moegamat ‘Ikie’ Tabisher, 35, appeared in the Atlantis magistrate's court last Friday.

Sitting in a wheelchair, battered and bruised, he’s facing charges of murder and assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The victim, Janet Jordan, 67, was laid to rest on Saturday, 14 February after the vicious attack on 26 January.

Residents at the Avondale Pearl Mansion flat block assaulted Tabisher, before he allegedly fled with the murder weapon and boksie wyn.
