All hell breaks loose in Manenberg as gangs and residents team up against crime fighters

ALL hell broke loose in Manenberg yesterday afternoon after residents intervened during an arrest following a shootout between law enforcement agents and gang members.

According to Daily Voice sources, the mayhem unfolded as Metro police conducted a high-density operation when they received information of a suspect with a firearm in Alleta Court.

After a search of the premises, they found a 29-year-old man with a firearm and ammunition.

As the cops then walked the suspect to the police vehicle, the suspect shouted for his getuies to shoot at the officers.

The officers then returned fire, injuring two unidentified people who were rushed for medical treatment.
