Gang killings claim three in Elsies River as a Hanover Park meisie, 8, is hit in crossfire
THE Cape Flats was a bloodbath over the weekend after four mense were killed in shootings and innocent bystanders, including an eight-year-old girl, were wounded.
Lieutenant-Colonel Malcolm Pojie, a police spokesperson, said Philippi police registered a murder and two attempted murder cases for further investigation following a shooting incident on Friday, 2 May 2025 at about 6.10pm at Agulhas Court in Hanover Park.
He explains: "Members were summoned to a hospital in Heideveld where the body of a 33-yearold deceased man was pointed out by medical personnel.
"He sustained a gunshot wound to the chest.
