Star-struck Rose insists Chelsea legend can give Euro stars energy... and he knows how to block out American fans
BETHPAGE BLACK staged the Ryder Cup celebrity match yesterday with big names sometimes hitting the fairways.
John McEnroe, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and Cath erine Zeta-Jones (circled, top to bottom) were among the celebs to test out the daunting course.
But Justin Rose admitted he has only been "star struck" by one person in Long Island this week Chelsea great Gianfranco Zola.
The former Italy striker is part of the Team Europe backroom staff for the Ryder Cup and the buggy driver of his friend and vice-captain Francesco Molinari. Former US Open champion Rose (above) said: "Obviously a Chelsea legend. Clearly I'm a Chelsea fan.
"I didn't know he was coming this week. So it was a huge surprise and literally one of the first people I bumped into. I was coming around the corner to the hotel lifts and bumped into him.
"I meet a lot of really cool people in my life through the game of golf.
