VICTORIA Beckham takes centre stage this week in a three-part documentary on Netflix.

Posh was born Victoria Caroline Adams in Harlow, Essex, on April 17, 1974. Her family were comfortably off thanks to the electronics wholesale business founded by her mum Jacqueline and dad Anthony.

Her great-great-great grandfather was German revolutionary Carl Pfänder, a close pal of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. He moved to London in the 1940s and worked as a painter.

She signed up to theatre school after watching musical Fame (1980), then went on to study dance and modelling. One of her first jobs was as a promo girl for our sister publication, the Daily Mirror.
