STING has paid his former bandmates in The Police nearly £600,000 in “admitted historic underpayments” over royalties, High Court documents show.

The singer, 74, has handed over £595,000 to drummer Stewart Copeland and guitarist Andrew Summers since the launch of a £1.5million lawsuit by the pair, his lawyers said.
