Sterling is hard to shift

CHELSEA are stepping up their summer clear-out - but moving Raheem Sterling on is proving a challenge.

The Blues are making good progress on deals for RB Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons and Ajax defender Jorrel Hato, but sales remain the priority.

There has been interest in Sterling, including from Fulham, but in recent days he was offered to Napoli, although wages are likely to prohibit a deal.
