COLE PALMER claims he is following in the footsteps of a Chelsea legend.

Palmer (left) scored his eighth goal of the season in Sunday's 3-0 thrashing of Aston Villa, lifting the Blues into third, level on points with Arsenal.

It made him the secondfastest player in club history to reach 30 Premier League goals - behind only Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (right).
