WALSALL boss Mat Sadler praised the depth of his squad after they battled back to beat BRISTOL ROVERS 2-1 and keep themselves top.

Rovers had taken a lead into the break through Fabrizio Cavegn's fourth goal in as many games, which threatened to derail the home side.

Sadler brought on Brandon Comley and Courtney Clarke to tweak his midfield tactics.

It proved a shrewd move as Aaron Pressley (above) struck twice in the closing 20 minutes to secure a hard-earned victory for the Saddlers, who stay a point clear of Swindon.
