Police: There's been no crime

BBC newsreader Huw Edwards was last night named by his wife as the presenter facing allegations over payments for sexually explicit images.

After days of social media speculation, Vicky Flind confirmed the Ten O’Clock News anchorman, 61, was the star suspended by the Beeb.

She said her husband was in hospital suffering “serious mental health issues”.
