RUTH Jones sadly confirmed nowt’s occurring as far as a new series of Gavin & Stacey is concerned.

After wrapping things up with last year’s cockles warming conclusion, which was watched by 19.3million, she ruled out a return.

Creator and star Ruth said: “[Fans] know now it was the finale. I think after 2019, yes, people asked a lot because it was a cliffhanger.”
