Royals, veterans and politicians pay tribute

- WILL STONE

NEVER FORGET

BRITAIN came to a standstill as the country fell silent for Remembrance Sunday yesterday.

King Charles led the nation in saluting of the fallen, laying the first wreath at the Cenotaph in central London that recognises deaths from conflicts dating back to World War One.

He was joined by other royals, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with hundreds of veterans.

imageOther floral tributes followed from members of the Royal Family, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, other political leaders and foreign diplomats.
