'Lack of wind hit' turbines

THE world’s biggest wind farm developer has warned of a profits slump because the British summer was too calm.

They said the business was hit by “lower-than-normal offshore wind speeds” in July and August.

Danish firm Orsted has 12 wind farms in Britain which generate 7% of the country’s electricity.
