NEWCASTLE'S samba star Joelinton reckons that Eddie Howe's Magpies are much better equipped for a title challenge this season compared to two years ago.

Howe's side were tipped as title challengers in 2023 after finishing fourth, but a squad that lacked depth struggled to cope with European commitments and slumped to seventh place.
