I've lost touch with reality!

TELLY favourite Dermot O'Leary doesn't want to go back to reality.

The presenter is most famous for his stints hosting The X Factor and Big Brother over the years.

But in one of his most candid interviews ever, he today declares there's zero chance he'll ever agree to compete on anything like that at this stage in his career.

While many celebs are desperate for cash and more fame, he doesn't need either.

Dermot says: "I've never really been interested in doing a reality show because I've got a job.

"I've always been blessed enough and hard-working enough to be busy.

"Unless I was doing a show for a particular reason, what am I doing it for?"

Quite a few producers have tried to convince Dermot to do different reality formats, but he's turned them all down.

He adds: "I've been offered a couple of things, but it's never been something I've wanted to do.

"It's not that I don't want to show people the real me.

"I do live radio and when you do that, people get a sense of who you are.

"But it's just not something I want to do.

The only reality show that Dermot has ever been tempted to do is Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

But at 51, he's not sure that would be a good idea.
