Huge rats to invade our homes

ARMIES of monster rats "the size of cats" will plague our homes as they try to dodge a battering from Storm Eowyn's life-threatening 100mph gusts.

The super-size rodents said to have grown as big as small moggies - will "take no prison- ers" in their attempts to get out of the flood-ravaged wild.

Pest control expert Ian Helands said: "It sounds like something from a horror movie but people need to be aware and possibly start battening down the hatches now.
