ED Sheeran admits he's written songs about "real conflict" with wife Cherry Seaborn.

The star's new LP Play is packed with romantic ballads, many thought to be about his other half, but Ed isn't afraid to sing about the downside of their relationship too.

Ed said: "Cherry knows I write about everything not just the good stuff.

"Songs like Perfect exist, but so do the ones about real conflict.
