FORMULA ONE drivers guilty of swearing could be championship docked points or banned from racing for a month under new guidelines for stewards.

Ahead of the 2025 campaign, changes have been made to the way punishments are handed out.

Such tweaks are not unusual but the latest version of the guidance to stewards suggests the FIA is doubling down on its desire to stop drivers from swearing. The row broke out last season when Max Verstappen (left) used the F-word in a press conference.
