Cannot compete with his late wife

MY boyfriend’s late wife was perfect - and I can’t compete.

Everyone I meet tells me how kind, beautiful and talented she was. He still has photographs of her all over his place and I can see that she was a beauty.

One night recently, he tried to show me his home movies of their wedding day and foreign holidays they enjoyed together.

I politely said I'd pass and he got miffed. He accused me of “disrespecting her memory”, which I resented. I never met the woman so have no interest in their life before me.

The other problem is she was meticulous and clever. She used to deal with all of his paperwork, for home and business, while he concentrated on dealing with clients (he’s an architect).
