Star's farewell as Maddo suffers fresh injury blow
HEUNG-MIN SON bid an emotional farewell to Tottenham in his home city of Seoul yesterday.
The Spurs captain is leaving the club after a decade and was given a standing ovation and a guard of honour from players of both teams when he was substituted in the 64th minute of their 1-1 draw with Newcastle.
But the emotional reception for the South Korean got from fans was tempered by James Maddison’s injury late on which boss Thomas Frank admitted: “Looks bad.”
Maddison (inset) missed the closing stages of last season, including the Europa League final, with knee trouble and appears to have suffered the same problem.
