The "Snowman" star Michael Fassbender as detective Harry Hole. The film is based on Jo Nesbø's novel of the same name.

AUTHOR Jo Nesbo is having a second crack at bringing Harry Hole to life on screen, nine years after the film about his troubled detective flopped.

The Snowman, released in 2017 and starring Michael Fassbender, bombed with fans of the book series, which has sold over 50million copies globally.

So for the new Netflix nine-parter, Nesbo took no chances.
