I have just been reading about Ofgen's unexpected January price rise once again after they were expected to announce a slight decrease. It appears customers like me who pay every bill immediately we receive it are in the higher price range. I find this unexplainable as I have never not paid any bill on receipt and after a quick check on my smart readings. I don't want to pay this bill by direct debit as I want to know exactly how much I am paying and not let them take a different amount out before I see it. The prices they charge should go on certainty of quick payment, not penalise us because we want to take over responsibility for settlement ourselves. patriciaskipton
