Workout woe has Heck in foul mood

PAUL HECKINGBOTTOM hinted he will look to ban players from working with personal trainers after forward Daniel Jebbison missed Preston's draw at Loftus Road.

Jebbison, on loan from Bournemouth, faces a spell out with an ankle injury apparently sustained during fitness work undertaken away from the club.

“I'm angry about it,” said North End boss Heckingbottom.

“It's a growing trend in football where they work with people outside - they have their own people.

“It's an accident, I get it, but it's not happening again with Preston players.
