LEE Mack isn't surprised The 1% Club is a hit.

The presenter reckons its fiendishly tough questions make it TV gold.

In fact, he is convinced it's one of the best quiz shows of all time.

Lee told the Daily Star Sunday: "I like the fact that it's a tough quiz. By the end it gets so tough. It's so difficult to get the 1% question.

"There are a lot of quizzes where you know straight away whether you know the answer because it's general knowledge.

"But with The 1% Club, you stick with it because you're convinced you can work it out. Although, you might be deluded!
