LABOUR has announced its candidate in the Gorton and Denton by-election.

Angeliki Stogia, the Manchester city councillor for Whalley Range, was revealed as the party's candidate for the seat yesterday.
It comes after Andy Burnham, Labour Mayor of Greater Manchester, was denied permission to stand for the party.
