Farrimond on fire to rescue Warriors

WIGAN head coach Matt Peet hailed his side's resilience after a last-gasp Jack Farrimond try prevented what would have been one of the biggest shocks of the Super League season against Huddersfield.

The Giants led 18-10 up until the 73rd minute and looked on course to record only their second win of the season against the reigning champions.

But 19-year-old Farrimond scored twice in the final seven minutes to complete a dramatic turnaround and keep the pressure on Hull KR at the top of the table.

"I was made up with the fact we didn't stop playing," said Peet.

"We found a way. I never doubt this group, and it was a bit of a throwback game with a unique challenge.

"I liked the way we had belief throughout and stuck at it.
