Abdul straight up brilliant as Marti salutes 'huge' win

MARTI CIFUENTES hailed Abdul Fatawu's moment of magic as the Foxes clinched just their fourth home win in the league this season.

Fatawu sent a stunning lob from nearly 70 yards out, over a backpedalling Christian Walton in the 43rd minute, to double Leicester's lead, after Bobby De Cordova-Reid lashed a shot into the bottom right corner in the eighth minute.

Leicester stretched their lead seven minutes after the break when Jordan Ayew turned home Ricardo Pereira's cutback, before substitute Jens Cajuste reduced the deficit for Ipswich in the 71st minute as he pounced on an error from Foxes goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk.

Cifuentes said: "The second goal is a brilliant moment from Abdul. He tries it a lot in training.
