Martin hits third as Gunners keep up clean sweep bid

THIS was some baptism of fire for Liam Rosenior.

And it laid bare the size of the task in front of the new Chelsea manager after his first game in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal were so much better for huge chunks of the match and threatened to run away with the semifinal as even Viktor Gyokeres got in on the action.

Gyokeres scored, provided an assist and it was one of his best games in an Arsenal shirt as Mikel Arteta finally ended his semifinal curse.

Gyokeres said: “That's what I need to do and I can do it more often. We won today and we keep going.

“We were unfortunate to have conceded two but offensively we scored three, so happy with that. It was a tough game. We defended well”
