Daily Record
|November 11, 2024
AN ESTIMATED 110,000 households in Scotland will be hundreds of pounds better off due to reforms to Universal Credit, the UK Government has said.
The new Fair Repayment Rate will cap the amount repaid from benefit payments each month for short-term loans and debts at 15 per cent instead of 25 per cent. It will come into force next April.
