Glasgow giants' League Cup allocations are cut after SPFL crackdown

CELTIC and Rangers have been hammered by SPFL chiefs over their fans' pyro antics with ticket allocations slashed for their next League Cup trip to Hampden.

All clubs have been warned they could face similar sanctions if they don't crack down on pyros.

Both this season's semi-finals at the national stadium were held up - as was December's Old Firm final - due to what league bosses called “large-scale, illegal pyrotechnics displays”.

Celtic's semi-final against Aberdeen was delayed by 14 minutes and Motherwell v Rangers by five minutes.
