Leanne says Gordon's got company for stop of the season as Gers draw

RANGERS manager Leanne Crichton hailed Glasgow City keeper Lee Gibson for a save to match the great Craig Gordon.

The Scotland star stuck out a hand to push away a Laura Berry effort that had looked destined for the top corner as City and Gers drew 1-1 at Petershill.

And Crichton insisted the save deserved to be mentioned in the same bracket as Gordon's recent stop to deny Dundee's Emile Acquah.

The Gers boss said: "You're not seeing many keepers in the women's game making that type of save.

"A few weeks back in the men's game we were all raving, rightfully, about Craig Gordon's save against Dundee. That save here is right up there with that one. It really is.
