ST JOHNSTONE and Ross County both tumbled down to the Championship at the end of last season but their paths have taken different directions since then.

The bookies had the Staggies as favourites to go back up before a ball was kicked, with Saints just behind them in the market.

But it’s the Perth men who are blazing a trail at the top and while County may indeed be in a different division next term, it’s looking like it could be League One.

The Highland club have already binned two bosses and John Robertson is in caretaker charge as he tries to bring a bit of order to the Dingwall chaos.
