NUCLEAR power bosses would be on the train to Scotland the day after a Labour election win to talk about building new reactors here, according to UK Energy Secretary Ed Miliband.

That's good news. Scotland badly needs cheap power, the planet needs us to drop fossil fuels and nuclear ticks both boxes.

Plenty of environmentalists will say it's not needed: that renewables can do the job. Except they can't.
