Leith strugglers off foot of table as they grind out draw in Dingwall
-
HIBS hoisted themselves off the foot of the Premiership table at Hearts' expense - but their struggle to find winning form continues.
With Ross County rock solid, the Easter Road side hit a dark blue brick wall in the Highlands in a hard-fought stalemate.
David Gray's men have still only won once in the league and once in their last 15 away journeys in league action but their great rivals' defeat at least gave them some cause for contentment on the 170-mile journey home.
For County, it was a very decent performance just lacking in killer touch in the final third.
It was also a first trip back to Dingwall on official business for Malky Mackay, Hibs' director of football was sacked by the Staggies almost a year ago after a nine-game winless run.
County were looking at the possibility of climbing into the top six but have still only won two of their last 15 midweek Premiership games.
