Mum of three wrongly accused of affair

A MAN who murdered his wife in a brutal knife attack during a jealous rage at their home is facing a life sentence.

Mompati Dodo Isaacs, 39, wrongly believed his spouse cheated on him as he repeatedly stabbed her on the head, neck and body at their home in North Berwick, East Lothian, on New Year's Day last year.

Wife Keotshepile Naso Isaacs, 33, known as Naso, had told her attacker in her final words: "I love you."

Isaacs had denied her murder and claimed diminished responsibility.

But a jury at the High Court in Edinburgh rejected that and convicted him of murder.

Ahead of adjourning sentence for the preparation of a background report, a judge said: "There is only one sentence which will be open to me to impose and that will be a life sentence."

Lady Ross told Isaacs the bitter reality was that he killed Botswana-born Naso, a carer and support worker, out of anger and jealousy.
