McCann and Doddsy are Killie guys

NEW Kilmarnock boss Neil McCann landed the job after a whirlwind round of talks.

And his No.2 Billy Dodds last night revealed the pair are relishing going “straight into the deep end” with a crucial clash against bottom club Livingston on Saturday.

Former Scotland star McCann was named Rugby Park boss on a two-and-ahalf-year deal yesterday.

The 51-year-old will be assisted by Dodds after the pair spent the second half of last season working alongside Barry Ferguson at Rangers.

Second-bottom Killie who are four points clear of Livi having played a game more have been seeking a permanent appointment after Stuart Kettlewell's exit last month.
