LUCINDA RUSSELL has ushered in a new chapter for the most successful jumps stable in Scotland.

- LONG-TERM PLAN Russell

The dual Grand National-winning trainer has been granted a joint licence with former trainer Michael Scudamore - son of her partner, the eight-time champion jump jockey Peter Scudamore.

Scudamore Jnr has worked as an assistant at Russell's yard in Kinross for the past two seasons after running his own stable in Herefordshire for 13 years.
