JIMMY THELIN insists he won't be rushed into transfer business and is prepared to wait for the right players who will enhance Aberdeen’s Cup-winning squad.
The Swede is looking to bring in another four players, with attacking targets - including Milan's Marko Lazetic - high on the radar at Pittodrie.
Thelin did a lot of his summer business early but has given his recruitment team some strict criteria.
In addition to talent, he is looking for new arrivals to have good character, a will to improve and a real work ethic.
He has to put together a squad that will stand the rigours of the domestic competitions and groupstage football in Europe.
The Dons go into the Europa League playoff round later this month, where they will face either FCSB and Drita.
And the Aberdeen boss, who is preparing for the visit of champions Celtic on Sunday, said: “Sometimes you have to work on things but most important is the way you want to work and the profiles. It's that they can develop more.
