New Bhoy Araujo convinced Frenchman has the cajones to become a Hoops hit

CELTIC new boy Julian Araujo has revealed how working with Wilfried Nancy was part of the attraction of pushing through a six-month loan deal from Bournemouth.

And the Mexico World Cup hopeful is adamant the Frenchman has what it takes to become a smash hit in Scottish football despite a calamitous beginning to his Parkhead career.

Araujo was paraded at the club's Lennoxtown base yesterday, shortly before Nancy stole the show with a fiery defence of his own managerial methods.

And the 24-year-old former La Galaxy right-back, who is ready to make a debut on derby day against Rangers, is just as convinced that the new boss deserves to be backed not sacked as he settles into the role.

Araujo said: "I played against him in the MLS and the way his teams played was very hard for us to defend against. It was very hard to get the ball off them and they were also a high pressing team so I feel, with my style of play, I can do what he asks of me.
