Ex-Arsenal star all ready to tackle another exhausting but exciting week

- BY DAVID YATES X@thebedfordfox

IT'S GUNNER BE THRLLING

HIS go-forward dynamism in midfield earned Ray Parlour 333 Premier League appearances which still a club record - in an Arsenal shirt.

The same reserves of energy, not to mention the stamina for 90 minutes, extra-time and penalties, are a must-have to survive a week at the Cheltenham Festival.

Parlour, a mainstay of talkSPORT’s Breakfast Show, is alongside Alan Brazil for the Monday, Wednesday and Friday of a week that demands early starts and, in some cases, late finishes.

"The problem is pacing yourself - you can't overdo it," reflects Parlour, the winner of three Premier League titles and four FA Cups with the Gunners before rounding off his career with Middlesbrough and Hull.
