ANGUS GUNN was injured, without a club and unsure if he'd play for Scotland again.

It was a worrying period for the big keeper who knew he had to bide his time this summer.

But against Denmark in Copenhagen on Friday night, he got his reward.

Gunn's gamble to leave Norwich in June, looked to have backfired when he was injured playing for his country in a friendly against Iceland.

He hobbled off after just seven minutes and knew clubs were unlikely to sign him when he wasn't fit.

But the 29-year-old - who played a huge part in getting Scotland to Euro 2024 - fought back to earn a deal at Premier League Nottingham Forest.
