Schoolmaster denies claims as he faces Cape Town trial

NICKY Campbell's former teacher stood in the dock yesterday to deny molesting a 12-year-old in South Africa.

Iain Wares, 86, is set to be extradited back to the UK after being accused of having sexually abused 72 boys over 11 years at private schools Edinburgh Academy and Fettes College.

The married former maths and rugby teacher is said to have committed the offences between 1968 and 1979 before moving to Cape Town.
