We're talking about a lad who's had more comebacks than Rocky Balboa.

But I do wonder how long he'll be able to keep convincing himself this is a battle worth fighting.

He's currently working his way back to fitness after injuring his neck at the end of last season.

He's not played since and now has shoulder and hamstring issues as well to contend with.

These are nothing compared to the major injuries he has fought back from but in my own experience, when you start to get one niggly knock after another, that is your body telling you something.

Given all the agony Craig has had to go through down the years, maybe he's developed a pain threshold that's higher than your average man's. It's certainly higher than mine.
