Brown reveals he missed out on Kiwi jersey

GREGOR BROWN hopes to keep his Scotland jersey this weekend - despite failing to bag a New Zealand one on Saturday.

The forward was one of the star performers in the thriller against the All Blacks but couldn't help end the country’s sorry 120-year winless sequence in this fixture.

The Glasgow star has had a storming year that saw him feature on the triumphant Lions tour to Australia during the summer.

And playing against New Zealand was another major milestone even if it did end in more heartache for the Scots.

He said: “It's still pretty surreal to be honest.

“Every time you play for Scotland, get ofthe bus and sing the anthem, it kind of feels like the first time you've ever pulled on the jersey.
